Mobile Inspiration
If you like inspiration on the go, or available on your cell, check out the following site:
www.mworship.net I'm sure it won't be anything like what you find here, but it will be pretty good stuff. I haven't tried it though, I don't have a cell. I wouldn't want to get too modern too quick. ha ha ha Thanks for stopping in, will resume regular material with next post.
I recently received the following in an e-mail from a co-worker.
CELL PHONE vs. BIBLE
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone? What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we flipped through it several time a day? What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it? What if we gave it as a gift to our kids? What if we used it when we traveled? What if we used it in case of emergency? This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible? Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. Makes you stop and think "where are my priorities?" And no dropped calls!
Bear with me, I'm still trying to learn the "how to's" about this blogging stuff. I meant for this button to be somewhere else. Oh well, it is still a nice button, don't you think?

um, that should be "site" ... i've only had one sip of my coffee, which caused a slip of my fingers! *chuckle*
i'm new to your site. found it through my brother's, search for significance. i will be visiting frequently because i love to hear from other godly women, seeking to know Him on a more intimate level and willing to talk about it.
That definitely is a pretty button. Sorry, I wasn't well so couldn't come visit.
God Bless.
You crack me up! I'm loving getting to know you....yes, it is a lovely button!
My most cherished item is my Grandmother's Bible. It is tattered, torn, faded and yellowed with age, pages so brittle, even the tape she used to fix the rips is breaking. I received it upon her death when I was only 10 years old. It holds a special place in my heart and my home....and was held by my daughter at her wedding. My grandmother was such an important person in my life, in my spiritual walk...that I cherish the Words that she read--even tolerating the King James version! Her handwritten notes on the side of her favorite passages guide me and inspire me to leave the same heritage for my children.
Actually-my Grandmother only had one Bible....today--we have many. But you are so right, my quickly-learning-about-this-blogging-thing-friend......we should cherish God's Word!

wow that was some food for thought, quite convicting, guess I need to trade in my cell phone.
I'm guilty of turning to the scriptures when I get in that emergency situation, but I really need to learn to depend on it like I do my cellphone and laptop...constantly. Thanks for the kick in the pants.

Hello!
May god Bless You with this blog, like He did me :)
I actually carry a Bible in my handbag. Always. I need eyeglasses to read it - the print is really small - but I find it very handy whenever I have some time at my hands, like at the dentist's, or when there is a road repair sometimes.
Grace and Peace!
