Prepare to Serve

It seems like I have had too many irons in the fire to post as much as I would like. But video posting is so easy that I really have no excuse. Ahhh, but I don't frequent blogs that consist primarily of video posts. Time consuming.... so, I won't be upset if you don't hang around and view today's video. Without further ado, here is a clip of some Sunday morning preaching delivered by yours truly.

My dear blogging friend,

I'm comin' back with a notepad...you've said some good stuff here!!!!!

I especially like "2nd hand service!"

"God is God--he doesn't need us....he WANTS us!"

To hear! To hear! To hear!

Powerful!

I didn't know that you are an evangelist...how did I miss that!

And what fun to hear your accent! When you have time, stop by my blog and take the Do you have an accent quiz on my sidebar and see where they say you are from.

What a blessing you are!

I'm inspired.....not just to show up...but TO HEAR God! And praise God for his desire to be with us!

I was ready to hear...good stuff...it is certainly true that some with seemingly good intent do not realize that they are a distraction...if we instead, as you preached, come ready to hear, we will be more prepared to serve...

Did you have some ham for breakfast, as Bro. Land used to say? Cause I believe you're making a fine preacher. Now if you just had that bucket of chicken to run up and down the road with. LOL. God job, Sis. Keep it up. You must have sung alot before you got up there or shouted one. Your voice sounds hoarse.

Diane: I feel that I walk in the gift of teaching. When I have opportunities to preach I feel that it is God's way of stretching me. Sometimes it is difficult to switch gears, but I enjoy sharing the Gospel whatever the venue. As for the title of an evangelist. Well, that comes with area in which I live and serve.

Even So: Thanks for taking the time to share your comments. It is always encouraging to get a pat from a real preacher. :>)

Sis, thanks for all of your encouragement and assistance as I travel the blogosphere.

P.S. Being able to pare out all the filler is the beauty of doing clips. Y'all might not have been impressed if you had heard the whole nine yards....... :>0

No problem about the blogging drought . It's your place, so post when you're ready. Peace.

Thanks for the reminder Milton. I really don't want to be like so many others that I have read. Those that post about taking a blogging break or go on and on and on about why they havent' posted. They could have written a great post in the same amount of time......
